QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Good to know.

Help center
Is a VPS the same as game hosting?

Game hosting starts with a specific game and a panel designed for its worlds, files and settings. A VPS gives you a virtual machine to configure yourself. Pick Games when you want a dedicated game-hosting experience.

Who manages the software inside a VPS?

The planned VPS offering gives you root access. You manage the software, updates and configuration inside your machine. The exact service scope will be published with the launch plans.

What location and operating systems are planned?

The draft plans use a United States location, KVM virtualization and Ubuntu or Debian Linux. Every VPS includes one public IPv4 address. Final locations and OS versions will be confirmed when provisioning opens.

Are CPU, traffic and backups unlimited?

No. Each plan lists its vCPU, RAM, NVMe storage and monthly outbound transfer. CPU and the uplink are shared. Three backup slots are proposed; transfer overage handling and backup retention will be confirmed before launch.
