Connect your domain with automatic HTTPS
Connect a domain you already own to a punshik website project. Verify ownership, update DNS and publish a release before HTTPS can activate.
What do I need before connecting a domain?
You need access to your domain's DNS settings and a website project. Open the website panel, choose your project and select Domains. Domain registration is separate. You can prepare the connection now; serving the site requires active hosting and a published release on a connected node.
How do I verify ownership?
Add the exact TXT name and value shown in the panel. The name begins with _punshik. Keep this record while the domain is connected. Use Check DNS to confirm it; DNS updates may not appear immediately.
Which DNS records should I change?
Use the A record address displayed in the panel. Remove conflicting A and AAAA records for that hostname. Use DNS only in Cloudflare. Changing these records moves traffic away from the previous host, so prepare your new site first. Add the root domain and www separately if you need both.
When does HTTPS become active?
Once ownership and DNS are confirmed, the hosting service is active and a release is published on an online node, the platform requests a certificate. Certificates renew automatically. Check Domains for the current status and expiry. A waiting state does not mean your website is live.
Why is my domain still pending?
Check the exact TXT record, A record and any conflicting IPv6 record. Certificate errors can also result from restrictive CAA records. Automatic DNS checks run every five minutes and certificate failures retry after one hour. Contact support if the displayed instructions do not resolve the issue.
